Clean-up Day
Georgetown Spring Cleanup - Saturday, April 5, 2008
CAG and Georgetown University are sponsoring the Georgetown Spring Community Clean-up on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 9AM to Noon.
All equipment will be provided including gloves and a few Nifty Nippers for picking up cans and bottles without bending.
Everyone is invited to start the day at Volta Park (34th & Volta Pl.) with bagels, juice and coffee. After cleaning the
streets and sidewalks of west Georgetown, everyone will return to Volta Park for a fabulous cook-out (hamburgers, hotdogs,
fixings and drinks) by the wonderful Georgetown Grilling Society.

Georgetown Hazardous Waste Pick-up - Saturday, April 26, 2008
CAG will pick up your old electronics and hazardous waste materials and transport them to the DC Government
Collection site for safe disposal and recycling. We take electronics, computers equipment, TVs, cell phones as
well as pesticides, batteries,

To arrange for a pickup of your items, contact Brenda Moorman at 202 333-5424 or
brendamoorman@aol.com by noon Friday, April 25th. Leave your name, address,
phone # and/or e-mail and a description of the items. All items must be on the curb by
9:00 AM Saturday, April 26th.
